The first phase extension project comprised of adding an additional storey, of 25 bedrooms, to the existing Fern Dean nursing home  and allows for additional daily communal and private living and dining areas, wellbeing, nurse-call, social areas, surface car and bicycle parking.

This high-end roof extension to the existing private nursing home was undertaken in conjunction with a  refurbishment of the existing day rooms and support accommodation.  Both of these projects were completed in a live environment to a fully occupied nursing home and were delivered both on time and within budget.
